Advanced Shortboard, all ages, for experienced surfers looking for a challenge May not enter any other shortboard divisions_____

Pro Longboard, all ages, $$ awarded to top four finishers. May not enter any other longboard divisions _____

Novice, all ages, any size board, 1st contest ever. May not enter any other short or longboard divisions _____

Guppies Surf, any size/shape board, ages 10 and under, parents may assist ____

Guppies Bodyboard, ages 10 and under, parents may assist____

Shortboard Divisions Girls 14 and under_____ Jr. Women 15-17____ Women 18-29____ Goddess 30 and up ___

Costs: Event Entry Fee $40, 2nd division $15. Total cost for 2 divisions $55

Pro/Am Longboard $70, if you wish to enter a 2nd division, add $30

Family Discount! If you are a family with 3 or more surfers competing, take $25 of the final cost

Contest starts: 1st heat in the water, Saturday 7:30am Contest Check-in: Friday 6:30pm, or Sat. 7am

HOLD HARMLESS RELEASE: This release bars your rights to recover damages in the case of an accident injuring you. READ BEFORE SIGNING! In applying to the ECWC surfing tournament, I promise to inspect the contest site, and assure myself that the area is safe for surfing, and further agree that I will not surf in the contest unless I am satisfied that the area and conditions are safe for surfing purposes. In exchange for the ECWC's accepting my entry form, I voluntarily agree to assume all risks incident to the sport of surfing, I fully understand and comprehend the dangers of surfing created by the sharp edges and fins along with the natural buoyancy of a surfboard when they are acted upon by the powerful forces of the ocean and ocean waves. With full knowledge, comprehension and understanding of these dangers, I voluntarily accept and assume all risks involved in the spirit of competitive surfing. In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I intend to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, hold harmless and release and forever discharge the ECWC, ESA, the State of North Carolina, New Hanover County, NC, the United States Surfing Federation, all ESA and ECWC National and local Sponsors, their members, agents and any officials connected with this competition, from all liabilities for injuries and damages whatsoever, arising from my presence or participation in the above described event and do hereby grant the sponsors such release as described herein. I hereby release the ECWC from any liability for accident or injury that may happen to me or my dependent during his/her stay at the contest and banquet. I acknowledge that I have read and understand all of the above.

FOR CONTESTANTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE: I HEREBY CERTIFY that I am the parent or guardian of the surfer named above, and do hereby give my permission with full understanding and comprehension of the foregoing agreement to hold the aforementioned organization and governmental entities harmless any and all liabilities including any such injuries which are alleged to have occurred as a result of negligent failure of ECWC officials, judges, and directors to properly supervise contestants in the course of competition.
