Local Author sponsors East Coast Wahine Championships

Eric Nail, author of “The Wave Wranglers and the New Order of the Pyramid” - a story about a rock band of surfers that go on a quest to find out why here is an all-seeing eye and pyramid on the back of the US dollar bill, has just come on board donating ten of his books as prizes to East Coast Wahine competitors. Eric will be on the beach on Saturday August 18 signing copies as well. Here’s a little bit about his book, the beginning of a series.Wave Wranglers

“Why is there a pyramid on the back of the US dollar bill?” It’s precisely this question that started author Eric Nail on his journey to write the first book in a new series called “The Wave Wranglers and the New Order of the Pyramid.”

The story revolves around a touring rock band - the Wave Wranglers - and their chance meeting with a mermaid, who reveals to them some of the most secret and intriguing mysteries in society. She gets them to go on a quest to find out why there is an all-seeing eye and pyramid on the back of the U.S. dollar bill. Along the way, they encounter hidden symbols in American culture and how they relate to the group of people seeking an Orwellian, one-world government – the New Order of the Pyramid. “It’s what Harry Potter would probably dig in college,” states Nail.

When asked why the Wave Wranglers were also surfers, Nail, who surfs, explains that the theories of Atlantis play an integral part in the story. “There’s a huge interplay between the land and sea. Atlantis was the original one-world government, and it fell into the ocean. Why? Did it do something wrong? Surfers respect the sea, so they are much more receptive - even if is to knowledgeable mermaids. Being in a band, they have a reason to drive around and go on adventures – they just set up their tour schedule around them. Makes you wonder where Scooby-Doo got all that gas money for the Mystery Machine.”

The author says the book is appropriate for tweens and older, due to some mild violence. “Basically, it’s for anyone who is interested in ancient prophecies, the Apocalypse, secret societies, philosophy, rock music, surfing, dolphins, whales and other sea life, including mermaids.”

The novel is available through the official web site, http://www.wavewranglers.com. There you can find a link to Amazon.com, but if you order directly from the author (through Paypal), you’ll get a custom guitar pick - to be used as a bookmark.
