I just love watching the webcasts of the WCT events and even some of the WQS events. But what makes them more exciting is when there’s a boat trip on the line or really cool swag. That’s where Fantasy Surfer comes in. I play both men and women’s. I’ve been playing men’s FS for 3 or 4 years now and women’s just started last year. The best part is that it’s free to play! I belong to several clubhouses on both sites. Only one or two of them are active though. The guys who belong to the houses are cool and many of us chat about the surfers, surfing, books, and whatever else we want to talk about. A few of us do quite a bit of research on the surfers and the breaks before each contest. Over the years I have taken the knowledge and managed to get better at picking my teams. Last season I even won some nice luggage from Billabong for getting the highest score at one of the women’s contests. I think I’m going to do it again at this next one, The Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach which leads me to my next blog…
